Sock It!

Terms of Use

Effective 24 September 2026

The short version

Sock It! is a game for your personal enjoyment. The free game is yours to play as much as you like. The Full Drawer is a one-time purchase through Apple that you keep for good. Refunds are handled by Apple. Please don’t copy or resell the app.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to the Sock It! app for iPhone (“the app”), made by Sahil Pabby (“I”, “me”). By downloading or using the app you agree to them.

The app is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add to the Standard EULA. If the two conflict, the Standard EULA wins.

2. Your licence

You may use the app on any Apple device that you own or control, as allowed by the App Store’s usage rules, for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute, sell or rent the app or any part of it, except where the law expressly allows it.

3. The free game and the in-app purchase

The app is free to download and play. The free game includes 4 and 6 pair piles and eight sock patterns, with no time limits and no adverts.

One optional in-app purchase is available: The Full Drawer. It is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks piles of up to 16 pairs and all 16 sock patterns. It is not a subscription and never renews.

4. Ownership

The app, including its code, artwork, sock designs, sounds and name, belongs to me and is protected by copyright and other laws. These terms do not give you any ownership rights in the app.

5. Updates and availability

I may update the app to fix bugs, improve it or keep it working with new versions of iOS. I will try to keep the app available, but I cannot promise that it will always be available on the App Store or that it will work on every device or future iOS version. What you have already bought will not be taken away by an update.

6. Playing comfortably

Sock It! is a calm game, but it does use gentle vibration (haptics) and moving 3D visuals. You can turn haptics and sounds off from the main menu. Take a break if anything feels uncomfortable.

7. No warranty

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, I make no promises that it will be free of bugs or interruptions. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including any rights you have in respect of digital content that is faulty or not as described.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, and my total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app and its in-app purchase. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Ending these terms

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. If you break these terms, your licence to use the app ends automatically.

10. Changes to these terms

If I change these terms, I will update this page and change the date at the top. The version in force when you use the app is the one that applies.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law that applies under the Standard EULA. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live.

12. Apple

These terms are between you and me, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you.
